Despite the launch of new consoles such as the Wii and PS3, the DS [lite] is still going very strong. In fact the DS Lite has recently passed the 35 million units sold mark.

To cope with the insane demand for it now, Nintendo has boosted production from 2.2 million units a month to 2.5 million units.
