A new Wii mod chip, the CycloWiz, is soon to be manufactured and distrubted (for about 50 bucks). With just a bit of soldering, this chip allows you to play both Wii and Gamecube "backups" (ya right), as well as gamecube homebrewed games and possibly Wii homebrews as well. The mod chip creators also say that the CycloWiz has a feature called "Stealth mode", which will hide your mod chip from detection by any version of the Wii firmware.

I suspect this will be a very popular mod chip to console pirates world round', with this they should probably be able to use the ISO images people have supposadly been ripping from Wii discs. My bet though is that these folks will soon be getting a cease and desist letter from the big N sometime soon.
