According to the FBI Report a man in california recieved the source code from a buyer of it from Texas, he then continued to set up a illegal service that undercut NCSoft's costs .
Raising up to 50,000 Users playing on his servers.

After receiving legal notice(s)[From NCSoft] he continued to run his service as well as bump up and rent more servers, he asked from the games community to help raise money for the servers as well, he raised 25,000 dollars in two days.

After a successful raid NCSoft can finally be at rest that it will be getting all the money from the 4 year old MMORPG.[The site was www.l2extreme.com]
