In this 13th expansion, players will gain a new type of inventory spot, the "Power Source". It is used for a new type of equipment, the Energeian Power Source. Energeian Power Sources work in a similar way to a magical battery and also come in various types. Energeiac Armor is a new type of armor that is making its debut in this expansion. It is pretty basic by itself, but it is truly meant to be used in combination with a Energeian Power Source. Depending on which power source you use with your armor, your armors' stats will change.
"“In addition to the Energeian Power, players will also be actively involved in the gameplay of this expansion from creating their own guild banners to participating in ship-to-ship combat on the open seas against swash-buckling pirates,” said Clint Worley, Producer, Sony Online Entertainment."
