“As our culture goes increasingly mobile, music fans have demanded to take our game music with them. They have been looking for a singular destination that houses all of EA’s music – and this is it,” says Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive of Music and Marketing at EA. “Our game soundtracks have now officially transcended their consoles. All songs, all mixes and all exclusives from all nations: if it’s in the game, it’s now available for fans to own. We consider this to be the next major step in evolving the music discovery experience.”

Oh Really? I don't believe I have ever heard someone say "Gee, I sure wish I could listen to music featured on EA games". Aparantly alot of people do, or else EA is just trying to get a peice of the iTunes pie and make some more dough. Im voting for the latter.

I must admit though, it is kind of cool to be able to get some tracks off of games like Medal of Honor, Lord of the Rings etc. Not so cool to be able to get tracks from Harry Potter games though... I guess there is something for everyone I suppose.

You can get everything from Need for Speed music, to Tiger Woods and even music from the Sims. There is actually a pretty big selection to choose from.

To see a full list of Music available, or if you want to buy some music, if that interests you, head over to the "EA Trax" website: http://www.ea.com/eatrax/
