Lego has signed off a game developer to develop a MMOG for legos! It will most likely be similar to another lego(ish) game that came out a while back. It was called BlockLand. During an interview with
Peter Molyneux by the folks at Kotaku, a major feature of Fable 2 was revealed...A pet dog. Ok, fine enough, but here is where it gets really unique:

he dog will be faithful to you and will have a deeply nuanced artificial intelligence so you won't actually control your dog at all. Instead your dog will act as a sort of living HUD. The game has no map, no other user interface on screen. Instead you will have to rely on the dog and what he sees and does.

http://www.helmgames.com/articles/283

Guild Wars 2 has been officially anounced! Playable races, high level cap (maybe even limitless) and a persistant world....I just can't wait. Its a shame that it won't even be in beta till mid 2008. In the meanwhile, us Guild Wars players will have an expansion to play with. This is the first true expansion to Guild Wars (Nightfall and Factions are standalone titles). The expansion is called Eye of the North, and will take us back to kryta, as well as give us a taste of the races comming to GW2. Eye of the North will come sometime later this year. It should hopefully hold us off another year or so while we eagerly await Guild Wars 2.
