Microsoft has just anounced that the hugely anticipated game, Halo 3, will release September 25th this year, rather than a holiday season release as previously speculated. Finally, the moment all Halo fans have been waiting for. The end of the trilogy. Of course, there is still Halo Wars (an upcomming RTS game based on Halo ), and probably other Halo spin offs.

If the excitement is just too much for you to handle at this point, you can still try out the Halo 3 beta starting tommorow. However, it is pretty much impossible to get into the beta at this point, so if you havn't already got yourself in it, you may have to rely on someone you know to get your fix.
