Activision has just recently released a press release with some new details on Guitar Hero 3. The press release again confirms that the game will be comming for Xbox 360, PS3 and the Wii. Really, the only new, important detail in the press release other than the partial list of tracks (see below) is that all the controllers will be wireless. Yes that's right, all the guitars will finally be without wires.

Now as for that list of tracks...well, not all were listed, only a few of them. They include Kiss, Rolling Stones and the Smashing Pumpkins. Heres the list:

• Paint It Black (by The Rolling Stones)
• Cherub Rock (by Smashing Pumpkins)
• Sabotage (by Beastie Boys)
• The Metal (by Tenacious D)
• My Name is Jonas (by Weezer)
• Knights of Cydonia (by Muse)
• Rock And Roll All Nite (as made famous by Kiss)
• School’s Out (as made famous by Alice Cooper)
• Slow Ride (as made famous by Fog Hat)
• Cult of Personality (by Living Colour)
• Barracuda (as made famous by Heart)
