Ever since Valve (makers of Half Life and Counter Strike) released its online distribution service, Steam, the service has done nothing but grow. With Steam, you can download/buy games, demos and more. Think of it as sort of the iTunes for video games.
Well, Valve has just gotten a new, major publisher onboard selling games via Steam. Capcom. Currently, Capcom is planning on selling Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, Onimusha 3, Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition, and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. More titles will most likely be announced shortly, but even then, some of these, namely Devil May Cry, are pretty major games, and should boost Steams popularity even more.
Capcom's Executive Vice President , Mark Beaumont says "Steam is the right place for us to go with our titles. Valve has created a huge installed base of gamers who naturally fit with the profiles of the titles that Capcom develops."
More news on future Capcom titles on Steam as they are anounced.
