Nintendo has surprised us Wii owners with a brand new channel! Available right now on the Wii Shop Channel (Wii Ware section) is the Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Preview Channel. The channel lets you view a couple trailers for the soon to be released game, and also has a little mini game where you scratch off the image to reveal a new one below.

Currently there are 2 videos available on the channel for you to watch. The first is just a basic trailer with a mix of CG footage and in game action. The second video shows off an intense bridge battle that you will have to fight in the game. There are also 2 more videos, but it says that they will not be available until August 13th.

All in all its pretty cool. Its free and doesn't take long at all to download, so might as well go download it and get yourself pumped for the release!

I dunno, I just dont see much use in it. Seems worthless besides its a sort of sneak peek at the game...

I think it is a cool way to let all 10 Million Wii owners know about it!! Im sure this will be the future way to download movies and demos (when they come out with USB HDD support)
