Assasin's Creed is an action game set in the time of the third crusade. You play as  Altaïr, a master assasin on a mission to hunt down and assasinate 9 historical figures who are "architecting" the crusade. As the gamer makes their way through the games storyline, you will uncover the conspiracy involving the 9 different people you have to kill. Through the game, you will be traveling through 3 real life citys, modeled after what they looked like back in the third crusade. These citys are: Jerusalem, Acre and Damascus.

What is so amazing about this game is the sheer freedom of movement. You can literaly climb on anything, jump on anything, walk on anything. You can climb up walls, swing on ropes etc. etc. Quite similar to what you can do in the latest Prince of Persia games, only on a much larger scale (As a side note, the team working on Assasin's Creed is the same created Prince of Persia: Sands of Time).
